Before You Start

• If you decide you want to form a group and put a proposal together, e-mail imaier@sd23.bc.ca re: your intention and a UBCO international development student will be assigned as a mentor to help you work through the process of creating and building a proposal into a finished presentation. 
• Start with the end in mind. 
• Read the judging criteria to help outline your proposal. Make sure that the charitable organization you choose is registered as a charity in Canada otherwise the money cannot be given. 
• Remember that the Millennium Development Application to Enter must be completed and e-mailed (imaier@sd23.bc.ca) or faxed (250-870-5001)  on or before January 31st to be eligible to be considered as a finalist.  All finalists will be contacted by e-mail by February 6th, 2012.
