African Touch Education Society is a registered non-profit that provides individuals with training in the skills of massage therapy and the support to obtain and sustain gainful employment with their African communities

Bicycles for Humanity  began in September 2005 with the simple aim of ennabling others to raise funds and collect unwanted bicycles to send to reliable partners in developing countries to provide affordable transport

CANADIAN WOMEN FOR WOMEN IN AFGHANISTAN

CW4WAfghan is a non-religious, non-political, federally registered charity in Canada.  The goals are to advance education &educational opportunities for Afghan women &their families: and to educate Canadians about human rights in Afghanistan.

LITTLE WOMEN FOR LITTLE WOMEN IN AFGHANISTAN

Little Women for Little Women in Afghanistan has a similar mandate to the above organization and is in fact a sister organization, with more of a focus of girls helping girls, as opposed to women helping women.

The Canadian Red Cross is an international organization that helps in major humanitarian disaster areas as well as in ongoing development.

Free the Children is the largest network of children helping children with a goal of primary education, health support, clean water & skills training to help raise villages out of poverty.

HOPE FOR THE NATIONS (HFTN)

HFTN works in partnership with local communities & organizations in over 20 countries to provide orphans & vulnerable children with caring homes, health care & education in their communities.  Local micro-enterprises and community development projects help to support & finance these efforts.

HOPE INTERNATIONAL

Hope International exists to improve the supplies of basic human necessities to the most need in the third world through self-help activities.  A current major focus is on supplying clean water to remote parts of Ethiopia that currently don’t have any.

KELOWNA GIFTS TO GRANDMOTHERS

This is a group of dedicated volunteers who raise funds to assist vulnerable women & children of Africa. One especially targeted group are assisting grandmothers who are placed in the position of raising millions of HIV/AIDS orphans.
