Volunteers & Donations

Volunteers

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us make this event successful again.

Here are some of the areas where we could use your help:

Set-up    

To help set up tables and chairs for the event. These volunteers need to be available on Friday evening.

Servers    

Volunteers to serve for each of the ethnic food booths (there will be approximately 20 booths).  Servers need to be available on Saturday from 4:00 - 9:00 pm.

Floaters    

Volunteers who will take over for servers and kitchen coordinators who need a break.  Floaters need to be available on Saturday from 4:00 - 9:00 pm.

Clean-up    

This will involve stacking chairs and tables, kitchen clean-up, etc. after the event on Saturday evening.

Donations

As the event has grown in the past years, so have the costs. Last years A Taste of Home attracted over 750 people. This year we anticipate even broader participation. To offset some of the cost involved we could use your donation.
Some of the expenses include; costs of printing the program, the costs for food preparation, printing of T-shirts, the purchase of disposable dishes, cutlery and serviettes, and much more.
