Blake Bromley is one of the world's foremost experts in charity law, and the recognized pioneer of charitable law and gifting in Canada. He works with donors, charities, foundations and governments on legal, financial and strategic issues. He has planned, negotiated and closed over a billion dollars worth of inter vivos gifting plus several times that in future testamentary gifts.
On April 24, 2010 at the Sandman Inn, Kelowna, in his presentation "The role of private foundations in family, community and global philanthropy", Bromley will discuss; passing on foundation values to your children; the role of private foundations in supporting international projects; and global philanthropy in an age of international threat.
Blake's experience, expertise, and technical competence in this field are trumped only by his passion, which stems in large part from his early experience with humanitarian work.
Blake Bromley was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1978.
